Underpinning: Helical Piers, Tiebacks, Plate Anchors

Lifetime Transferable Warranty

helical piersHelical Piers

Helical piers have been in use for the stabilization of foundations since the early 1800's. Current uses for helical piers include underpinning foundations for commercial and residential structures, foundation repair, light poles, retaining walls tie-back anchors, pipeline and pumping equipment supports, elevated walkways, bridge abutments, and other numerous uses in the electric utility industry. Many times helical anchors are the solution for your foundation repair project due to ease of installation, minimal vibration, immediate load transfer, ease of load capacity testing, installation not affected by weather, little to no disturbance to construction sites, to name a few.

Basement Tieback & Plate Anchors

Basement TiebacksHelical tie back anchors such as shown below are installed to support new retaining walls or to strengthen bowed walls. Helical tie back anchors size and load requirements are engineered specific. With high load capacities these anchors make an excellent choice for critical soil retention applications.

Tieback and plate anchors are designed to stabilize and strengthen bowed basement walls and seawalls and provide support to cracked walls. Typically, the helical anchors are installed from the inside of enclosed spaces, such as basements, through a small hole that is sealed and repaired after installation. These systems are economical and installed quickly with minimum disturbance to landscaping and surrounding areas.

Steel Piers

Steel PiersSteel piers are an excellent choice for most foundation repair issues which are caused by organic soils, swelling clays, poor compaction, improper footing embedment, and erosion or run off. Steel piers, also known as push piers, mini-piles or resistance piers are an economical and permanent solution for your home that has settled. Steel piers are an end bearing pier that does not rely on the soils skin friction to provide support. These underpinning piers are able to develop a factor of safety due to the fact that they are individually load tested during installation.

Helical Piles for New Construction

helical piles for new constructionHelical piles are ideal for new construction deep foundation applications where there is a need to resist both tension and axial compression forces. As possible replacement for augured cast-in-place concrete piles, Helical anchors or piles are considered a viable alternate. With many advantages over concrete piers, such as, no spoils to remove, no waiting on concrete delivery and curing, immediate loading and all weather installation, helical piles are much more versatile.
