The Project

The team at Foundation Professionals of Florida regularly handles commercial jobs in addition to residential repairs. One such recent commercial job was the repair of a Jacksonville Michael’s distribution warehouse tilt-up wall panel repair using carbon fiber. This large building had a bowing wall problem that threatened to cause significant structural damage to the rest of the building. Fortunately, our experts were able to use carbon fiber strips to support the wall, strengthening the structure and preventing structural failure from occurring.

The Problem

Space between the walls and floors or cracks in the wall can then let water into your home, leading to a variety of structural issues. That is why it is important to have bowed walls fixed as soon as possible. Keep an eye out for bowing walls in your Florida home or business. Foundation Professionals of Florida uses Rhino Carbon Fiber Reinforcement Products products for all of our carbon fiber repairs. With this method, the carbon fiber fabric is applied to the wall using a special adhesive. Additionally, the wall was supported by steel piles. This repair option offers long-term strength without being too invasive or noticeable when completed.
