Concrete Leveling and Lifting

If there’s an uneven concrete slab such as a sidewalk, driveway, or pool deck on your property, don’t wait until someone trips, gets injured, and then sues you. Today, it’s easier than ever to quickly lift and level sunken concrete slabs.
Traditionally, unlevel slabs were repaired either by digging up the old slab and replacing it with a new one, or by mudjacking. These weren’t the best solutions though.
Replacing a slab is time-consuming because freshly poured concrete can’t be used right away. It needs time to harden and cure. Mudjacking, on the other hand, uses a heavy concrete slurry to lift the slab.
Concrete slabs often sink and become uneven because the soil under them isn’t capable of holding them up. If the old slab sunk because the soil couldn’t hold it up, the new one will eventually sink as well. The cement slurry used in mudjacking is also a problem because it just adds more weight to the soil.
Today, there’s an even better way to lift and level sunken concrete: polyurethane foam injection.
The polyurethane foam injection procedure involves drilling small holes in the concrete (which will be filled in later) and then using them to insert the ultra lightweight polyurethane foam under the slab. The foam expands immediately and this lifts and levels the slab.
The repair is minimally-invasive and usually takes no more than a few hours. As soon as it’s complete, you can start using the slab again.
