Deterioration in Structure

Problem: Deterioration in Structure

Foundation Professionals of Florida had the privilege of working on The Club House on Lake Isabella, the home of the Women’s Club of Lake City and The Lake City Garden Club. This building is a beautiful, small white building that sits on the shores of Lake Isabella, on the grounds of the Lake Isabella Historic Residential District. The Lake City Garden Club and The Lake City Woman’s Club has been around since 1928.

Solution: Stabilization Techniques

We worked on stabilizing the structure with custom beams. It was an honor and privilege to work on this project. We love Lake City, Florida, and strive to give our customers the best possible service. Saving structures and strengthening foundations is our business, and we take it seriously! Here’s the great note we received on our Facebook page about this project:

Thanks to Foundation Professionals of Florida coming to our rescue. The Club House on Lake Isabella which houses The Lake City Garden Club and The Lake City Woman’s Club had beams in the basement that were rotting. We knew we had a problem and had already contacted David Brown. He was already working on a plan. An event was held one night and the beam gave a little more. I called him the next morning and he was there with his crew to begin the stabilizing so that events that were scheduled could go on. He has now installed custom-made metal columns and a beam overhead. The Club House should stand for another 100 years. David and his crew were great to work with. Call them if you need foundation work done and call The Club House if you need to rent a building for a special event.
